cryptocurrencies
Japan’s e-commerce giant Rakuten is now allowing users to convert
loyalty points earned on the platform into Bitcoin Cash, Bitcoin
Core, or Ethereum.With approximately 107 million members registered
in the second quarter of 2019, some refer to Rakuten as the “Amazon
of Japan”.

â–şCryptocurrency related Youtube Videos are being removed en
masse
Various cryptocurrency-focused Youtube content creators have
reported that their videos are being removed under the site’s
content policies. The widespread removals have crypto Youtubers
referring to the event as the “Christmas Crypto purge” of 2019.

Software developer Tyler Smith published the protocol on GitHub,
where he states the protocol “seeks to begin the process of
utilizing pre-consensus techniques in order to create a faster,
more scalable, and more secure Bitcoin Cash.”
